Meadowbrook Montessori School

History

"The greatest gifts we can give our children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence."

—Dr. Maria Montessori

Our History

Established in 2003, Meadowbrook Montessori School has a longstanding tradition of educational excellence.

In 2007, we purchased our current location. We took steps to craft a welcoming, home-like environment that not only fosters high-quality education but also instills a strong sense of comfort and belonging.

Our building also has a fascinating historical legacy. The building we now call our school was built and occupied by a descendent our city's founding family, the Snell's. This historical connection adds a unique charm to our educational institution, as we honor the rich heritage of our city while providing a nurturing environment for your child's education.

In the summer of 2023, we embarked on a project to enhance our school further. We updated our back courtyard with new fencing, patio, and landscaping, transforming it into a serene and beautiful space. This addition not only beautifies our school but also provides students with an inviting outdoor environment, fostering their connection with nature and creating additional opportunities for learning and exploration.

“Meadowbrook has been extremely fundamental in the growth and development of my child. I love how they honor family and community and the educators tend to my child with the utmost compassion and presence. We love Meadowbrook.”
